Juliette Caloin

Juliette Caloin will carry the Olympic Torch. This is her story:

Sport has played an extraordinary role in Juliette's life. When her illness was diagnosed in 2019, it became much more than just a simple activity for her. It gave her a sense of aliveness just when she needed it most. For Juliette, sport was much more than a simple fight against cancer; it was her source of energy, her way of fighting and overcoming the disease.

Today, while she is still in remission, carrying the Olympic Torch stirs powerful emotions for her. It will symbolise her victory over the disease, because it was through sport that she found the strength to fight on. This torch embodies the rebirth of life and opens the door to a future full of hope.
