Julie Stawski

Julie Stawski will carry the Olympic Torch. This is her story:

For Julie, the Olympic Games are more than just a simple sports competition: it is a moment she cherishes as much for the athletes' ability to surpass themselves as for the positive and enchanting atmosphere that surrounds them. Whether at the summer or winter Games, whether popular or less well-known sports, Julie still finds inspiration and fascination in this unique event, which she now shares with her 9-year-old son.

The 2024 Paris Games represents an exceptional opportunity, and Julie is determined to make the most of it! Julie, who is enthusiastic about gymnastics, a sport she still participates in today, and tennis, is also a school teacher. She passes on this love of sport in all its forms to her pupils, whether via Olympiad multi-sports days, through running, or by means of solidarity activities such as the French Federation of Cardiology’s Parcours du Cœur events promoting a healthy heart. As a torchbearer, Julie hopes to experience this extraordinary event in an equally memorable way.
