Jean-Noël Freyri

Jean-Noël Freyri will carry the Olympic Torch. This is his story:

Jean-Noël has always made sport an essential part of his life. From an early age, he was drawn to competition and the challenge of surpassing himself, devoting many years to intensive training in order to reach the heights of cycling. Throughout his career, he had the privilege of proudly representing his country in national and international competitions. However, his passion for sport goes far beyond results and medals.

For him, the positive impact that sport can have on the lives of individuals, particularly young people, is profoundly significant. As a volunteer coach for under-19 cyclists, he has seen first-hand the transformative effect of sport on their personal development, witnessing their progress and their acquisition of values such as discipline, respect, team spirit and perseverance. For Jean-Noël, carrying the Olympic Torch is an opportunity to pass on this passion and these values to a wider audience.
