Gwladys Lemoussu will carry the Olympic Torch. This is her story:

Gwladys is an emblematic figure in the in the French Paralympic team. She is renowned for her para-triathlon performances and made her debut at the Rio Paralympic Games, where she became the first French triathlete to win a medal in her discipline.

After having also taken part in the Tokyo Games (where she finished in 5th place), Gwladys set herself the objective of making her ultimate dream come true: to represent her country ‘at home’ during the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games. Above and beyond her sporting ambitions, Gwladys aims to encourage and support the younger generation and share the idea that “anything is possible”. This is the message she wishes to convey by carrying the Olympic Torch.
