Geoffrey Wersy

Geoffrey Wersy will carry the Olympic torch. This is his story:

Geoffrey has been competing in para-triathlon and para-duathlon for the past 12 years. As a member of the French para-triathlon team, he has earned numerous selections for the French national team and currently holds the seventh spot in the world rankings. He has one goal in mind: qualifying for the Paris 2024 Olympics. He trains without respite to achieve this objective.

Despite being born with hemiplegia affecting his left limbs, Geoffrey has turned his handicap into a source of strength and proved that disability is far from an unsurmountable obstacle.
