Frédéric Jardin will carry the Olympic torch. This is his story:
For Frédéric, the Olympic motto, Citius, Altius, Fortius ("Faster, Higher, Stronger"), is an apt representation of the state of mind of the athletes and of his own guiding principles in his everyday work as a personal growth and development advisor. He forges ties with his clients and addresses their specific needs to encourage them to pull out all the stops in their professional projects. As a sportsman and a competitor, Frédéric does everything he can to support men and women who hone their talents and dynamic skills day in, day out. He is a firm believer in the importance of human relations, evoking Antoine de Saint-Exupéry: "The greatness of a profession is above all to unite people; there is only one true luxury and that is human relations".
As he sees it, the Olympic Games are more than just an event. They are the experience of a lifetime and a unique chance to share an extraordinary moment with the whole team. He says that the five interlaced rings representing five continents united behind Olympic values also stand for peace, passion, extreme challenges, a sporting spirit, glory and eternity. They are a token of the universal Olympic values and of how athletes from the four corners of the world come together for the Games.
