Fabrice Tougeron

Fabrice Tougeron will carry the Olympic Torch. This is his story:

Fabrice has been a football enthusiast for more than 40 years and has devoted a major part of his life to his football club. He has been a devoted volunteer for more than 20 years, occupying the position of chairman for a decade and becoming an essential pillar of the structure. He is always present to support young players, by participating in frequent tasks as well as organising various events, and embodies the spirit of volunteering and community involvement.

For the last three years, Fabrice has been fighting against an illness detected while preparing for marathon. It has not, however, prevented him from continuing to volunteer or from performing his professional activity of remote home assistance. Fabrice has always put the happiness of others before his own... What matters most to him is his wife and two daughters, and that his family and friends are happy and fulfilled. For this lover of sport, carrying the Olympic Torch will be an honour.
