Emma Lamont

Emma Lamont will carry the Olympic Torch. This is her story:

From the age of 12 years old, Emma demonstrated her social commitment by mobilising her school to collect books for the library at the Pétion-Ville orphanage in Haiti. Since then, she has continued her involvement by joining the Red Cross and taking part in distributions such as Christmas boxes for the homeless.

In March 2022, at just 16 years of age, with the support of her mother, Emma helped the children of a Ukrainian family fleeing the war in their country to find a home. Emma is committed, dynamic, outgoing and has also distinguished herself as a brilliant school pupil. She was the editor in chief of the magazine at her junior high school for three years and a member of the senior high school’s pupils’ committee, demonstrating her leadership and sense of responsibility. With her positive attitude, seriousness and constant commitment, she is aiming to go on to study business.
