Cécile Dordoigne

Cécile Dordoigne will carry the Olympic torch. This is her story:

Despite her "invisible" disability, Cécile has been passionately involved in amateur sports for 35 years. Her commitment has seen her wear multiple hats: player, coach, referee and even overseeing matches at the regional basketball score table.

She has been a supporter of events such the adapted French basketball, table tennis and pétanque national championships, as well as a keen spectator at international sports events. Cécile will proudly carry the Olympic torch, embodying its values, which will honour her dedication and, beyond that, her outstanding personal attributes.
