Cassandre Petit 

Cassandre Petit will carry the Olympic Torch. This is her story:

Cassandre embodies enthusiasm for sport and commitment to inclusion. She is a fervent supporter of the Olympic and Paralympic Games as well as international competitions in various sports disciplines, particularly rhythmic gymnastics, synchronised swimming or also wheelchair basketball.

For Cassandre, who has a physical disability, sport is much more than a demonstration of individual performance; it is a means of bringing people together and promoting social inclusion. She wants to show that sport and disability are not necessarily associated with heroic deeds or superhuman challenges but can instead be vehicles for solidarity and unity within society. Her commitment to sport, and in particular to the Paralympics, demonstrates her desire to support and promote the inclusion of people with disabilities in the world of sport.
