The lands of Aube, found on the doorstep of Paris, stand out for their natural charm, art of living, and awe-inspiring heritage. Aube stands ready to welcome the Olympic torch so it can bring its magic to the world. The torch will start this portion of the relay in the medieval streets of Ervy-le-Châtel and move on to Nogent-sur-Seine, famous for its Camille Claudel Museum. After that, the torch will go to Ville-sous-la-Ferté where it will visit Clairvaux Abbey, an old Cistercian abbey and former prison.

The next stops will be Romilly-sur-Seine and the Nigloland amusement park in Dolancourt. The Olympic torch will also head to Mesnil-Saint-Père, where it will drop by the banks of Lac d'Orient: a 23-hectare lake and a great place to go for a swim and engage in water sports or birdwatching. It will be a chance to draw in a deep breath of fresh air before ending the day in Troyes.

Celebrations in Troyes

Troyes is a city known for its Renaissance heritage and factory outlets, where there is always something interesting to do. The torch will start its tour of Troyes in Rosières-près-Troyes where you can find the International Multisports and Climbing Complex (CIME) - a venue of more than 6,000 m² dedicated to this young Olympic sport.

The nearby University of Technology of Troyes is thrumming with vibrant collegiate life. The torch will then advance to the centre of the historical capital of Champagne via the Canal du Trévois and the theatre. Finally, it will set a course for Le Cube, a convention centre in Troyes with a capacity of almost 6,000. This modern venue will host the end-of-day celebrations and the lighting of the cauldron after the final relay.

A festive programme open to all awaits you, including :

• events organised by the local authorities: sport, music, shows, etc.
• stands run by the Relay of the Flame sponsors:
  • Coca-Cola will be providing a musical and festive atmosphere
  • Banque Populaire will be giving the public the chance to try out water sports
  • Caisse d'Epargne will be dedicating its stand to basketball and handball
• a show organised by the sponsors on the sports slab from 6 p.m.
• 7.20pm: the arrival of the last torchbearer and the lighting of the Olympic cauldron, a moment not to be missed!

Note: a giant screen, a host and a DJ will also be on hand to get the public in the mood for the Torch Relay!
