Innsbruck 1964The Medals

On the obverse, an imposing Alpine scene, with the inscription ”INNSBRUCK 1964” going around it. For the first time, the name of the discipline appeared on the medal at the foot of the mountain. On the reverse, the official emblem with the coat of arms of the City of Innsbruck linked with the Olympic rings, with the inscription "IX - OLYMPISCHE WINTERSPIELE" going around it.
