Youth Olympic Games on the road at FIS ski and snowboard events!

Over the last two weeks you may have spotted the Youth Olympic Games in Wengen and Kitzbühel for the FIS World Cup events and La Molina for the FIS Snowboard World Championships. That’s because the YOG has decided to go on tour this season and have fun at some of the coolest international winter sport events!

In Wengen, the world’s top skiers took some time out to chat to the YOG team, passing on training tips and how they really feel about racing some of the most difficult runs in the world. Check out the video clip and keep an eye on our Facebook page for more exclusive interviews!

Back in Austria, the Innsbruck 2012 team were out in full force in Kitzbühel, blasting out their awesome “Run to the Rings” clip around the town and chatting to competitors and spectators.

In La Molina, for the first time in a World Championship, snowboarding slopestyle was on the programme and totally got the crowd fired up! What’s more, Innsbruck 2012 will be the first Olympic programme to feature snowboard slopestyle along with some other new amazing events such as ski half-pipe, biathlon mixed relay, ice hockey skills challenge, luge team relay, and women’s ski jumping.
