Summer McIntosh is looking to equal or better her double-gold effort at the World Aquatics Championships from a year ago.
The 16-year-old Canadian swimming star is set to compete in four individual events at the 2023 edition: The women's 200m butterfly, 400m individual medley and both the 200m and 400m freestyle.
She's the reigning world champ in the butterly and IM, and won silver in the 400m freestyle behind Katie Ledecky.
Canadian broadcaster CBC Sports confirmed McIntosh's quartet of races, which will likely also include additional races in the relays for Team Canada at the event, being held in Fukuoka, Japan.
Swim fans are also eyeing a potential showdown between McIntosh and American Regan Smith in the 200m butterfly final.
