Paris 2024 Olympics: How to watch USA swimming star Caeleb Dressel live, with full schedule
Seven-time Olympic champion Caeleb Dressel is gearing up for his third Olympic Games just over one year after an eight-month mental health break and five months after becoming a new father to his first child, August.
Going into round three, it seems to be the top of the podium or nothing for the 27-year-old United States swimmer, who has raced a total of nine times at the Olympic Games, taking seven gold medals and missing the podium twice.
Dressel also holds the world record in the men’s 100m butterfly — one of the two individual races that he will be swimming in at Paris 2024, along with the 50m freestyle. He is the reigning Olympic champion in both events.
The final race that Dressel is slated to compete in is the men’s 4 x 100m freestyle relay, where he will go for a third straight Olympic title, after contributing to USA's gold medal teams at Tokyo 2020 and Rio 2016.
After taking a step back from the sport at the end of 2022 to figure out who he “really is,” Dressel said: “I’ve been enjoying it this year. It’s been a really, really fun year for me” to olympics.com while on the podcast in June.

Caeleb Dressel's full schedule at Paris 2024 Olympics
Dressel will make his debut in Paris the day after the Opening Ceremony, on Saturday 27 July with the men’s 4 x 100m freestyle relay.
His performances in the heats and semifinals of each race determine which finals he will compete in, but if history is any indicator, Dressel will likely have a busy schedule.
The top 16 athletes from the heats in each event will progress to the semifinals, where the top eight will further progress to the finals and have a shot at fighting for an Olympic medal.
