With the UEFA Nations League Matchday 4 fixtures starting midweek, football fans can look forward to a tasty assortment of international matches headlined by France vs Croatia - a rematch of the FIFA World Cup 2018 final - on Thursday.

To be played at the Stadion Maksimir in Zagreb, the Croat's will be looking to make home advantage count against the reigning World Champions. Watch the UEFA Nations League live on TV and online streaming in India.

The 2018 World Cup finalists met in the reverse leg of their League A Group 3 fixtures of the UEFA Nations League at the Stade de France in September with Les Blues emerging as 4-2 winners.

Croatia, however, will be bolstered by the return of talisman Luka Modric, who missed the September tie after being excused by coach Zlato Dalic due to his late preseason start with Real Madrid.

Luka Modric’s return to the squad for the UEFA Nations League matches will be a big boost for Croatia.

Ivan Perisic, who has had injury concerns of late, also seems to be back in contention to make the starting line-up after a substitute appearance in their 2-1 friendly win over Switzerland.

France, too, are set to welcome two big names back into the squad with Paul Pogba and Kylian Mbappe. Pogba had missed the tie in September due to a COVID infection while Mbappe was out with an ankle injury.

Croatia vs France will kick off at 12:15 AM on Thursday in India.

Tactical battle awaits with Italy vs Netherlands

European powerhouses Italy and Netherlands, meanwhile, are set to square off at the Stadio Atleti Azzurri d'Italia stadium on Thursday for another heavyweight class in League A Group 1.

The first leg at the Amsterdam Arena went Italy's way courtesy a solitary goal from Nicolo Barella.

The battle in focus in the Italy vs Netherlands tie will be on the sidelines, with two shrewd tacticians - Roberto Mancini for Italy and Frank de Boer for the Netherlands - coaching both sides.

Gareth Southgate's England too will be in action against Denmark over the midweek.

Meanwhile, Cristiano Ronaldo will not feature in the Portugal vs Sweden UEFA Nations League match after the superstar striker tested positive for COVID-19.
