Take part in a fan Q&A with French handball great and Olympian artist Luc Abalo
Ever wanted to speak to a handball great and ask him all your burning questions?
Well, here's your chance.
Four-time Olympic medallist Luc Abalo will take your questions in a live Q&A at the Paris 2024 Olympics on Friday (2 August) at 1800 CET.
From 18:00 Central European Summer Time, Abalo will take fan questions in addition to talking about his amazing career.
Abalo, who is also an accomplished artist, bowed out of the sport in 2023 as one of the legends of French handball following a career that spanned 25 years.
The right wing was an integral part of the famous French team, “Les Experts”, that dominated world handball with Olympic gold medals in Beijing 2008, London 2012 and Tokyo 2020. The team conceded their Olympic title in Rio 2016 finishing as runners-up before reclaiming the gold at the next edition.
Abalo also won the world titles with the team in 2009, 2011 and 2017. During his international career, Abalo won a total of 13 medals at major international competitions scoring 859 goals in 289 matches between 2005 and 2021.
Fans who join the experience can submit questions to the former handball ace, as well as sign up to win Olympic merchandise, and be in with a shot of meeting Abalo virtually.
Three people will be selected to do so, and during their short virtual meeting, they will receive a personalised digital autograph from Abalo.
