A star-studded Juventus continued their winning run on Wednesday as they got the better of Genoa 3-1 at the Luigi Ferraris Stadium, courtesy second-half goals from Cristiano Ronaldo, Paulo Dybala and Douglas Costa.
And Maurizio Sarri will be looking for his seventh straight Serie A victory on Saturday when they welcome city rivals Torino in the Turin derby at the Allianz Stadium.
Here's all Indian football fans need to know about the upcoming match and how to watch it live in India:
Where they stand in the Serie A table
The win over Genoa keeps Juventus four points clear of second-placed Lazio at the top of the table. After Inter Milan’s form dropped at the turn of the year, Lazio are the only challenger to Cristiano Ronaldo and Co. in the title race.
Unlike last season, when they finished seventh on the points table, Torino have been underperforming this time. They have garnered just 31 points from their 29 matches to sit 14th on the league table.
Likely starting line-ups
Juventus predicted starting XI: Wojciech Szczesny, Juan Cuadrado, Matthijs de Ligt, Leonardo Bonucci, Danilo, Rodrigo Bentancur, Miralem Pjanic, Aaron Ramsey, Douglas Costa, Cristiano Ronaldo, Paulo Dybala
Torino predicted starting XI: Salvatore Sirigu, Lyanco, Armando Izzo, Gleison Bremer, Soualiho Meite, Tomas Rincon, Sasa Lukic, Lorenzo De Silvestri, Ola Aina, Andrea Belotti, Simone Zaza
Injury updates and team news
Host Juventus will have to continue with a long injury list. While centre-half Merih Demiral stays sidelined with a long-term injury, full-backs Alex Sandro and Mattia de Sciglio remain unavailable as well. German international Sami Khedira is another long-term absentee with a serious injury.
However, Juventus fans will be hoping to get a cameo of veteran defender Giorgio Chiellini, who has recovered from his injury.
Juventus’ city rivals, on the other hand, have a relatively fit squad at disposal for the big clash with only Daniele Baselli unavailable. Suffering a cruciate ligament injury, the midfielder has been ruled out for the season.
Juventus vs Torino head-to-head
Juventus have clearly been the bigger and the better of the city clubs, having won 17 of their 21 encounters while losing only once.
The reverse fixture, though, was a close affair with Juventus scraping through a 1-0 win that came from new signing Matthijs de Ligt.
Players to watch out for
Wide forwards Cristiano Ronaldo and Paulo Dybala will continue to be the biggest threat for any team with the duo directly involved in 49 goals this season so far.
Torino, on the other hand, will be relying on captain and striker Andrea Belotti. The forward has scored 12 goals this season with help from Alex Berenguer and Cristian Ansaldi from the left flank.
Where to watch Juventus vs Torino live
