American artistic gymnasts claimed two out of the four women's apparatus finals at DTB-Pokal 2023 in Stuttgart, Germany on Sunday (19 March).

Joscelyn Roberson took the first final of the day, the vault, with just one other athlete in the field.

The Winter Cup vault champion, who trains at Simone Biles' World Champions Centre academy under Cecile Landi, averaged 14.083 with Germany's Karina Schoenmaier (13.016) in second.

The 16-year-old had to settle for silver on floor despite matching Julia Soares' score of 13.300. The Brazilian's superior execution marks secured her the victory.

Roberson's teammate Zoe Miller won the uneven bars thanks to a score of 14.633 with Dutchwoman Sanna Veerman (14.233) taking second.

And there was a home win in the balance beam as Jessica Schlegel prevailed with 13.433 ahead of Belgium's Maellyse Brassart (13.133).

In the men's apparatus finals on Saturday night, Japan's world and Olympic all-around champion Hashimoto Daiki took the horizontal bar with teammate Doi Ryosuke edging out USA's Yul Moldauer on floor.
