The Philipinnes' first ever female Olympic medallist has been posting on social media and calling for calm in her country.
Yesterday she posted:
"As an athlete we don’t stop when we fail once, even twice," on Instagram, continuing "the most important thing is we do our best and at the end of the day we won’t regret anything."
Training in Malaysia, she is more determined than ever:
"I will remain focus and determine to improve every single day together with TeamHD (Hidilyn Diaz)."
Today Diaz found out that she'd have to go into quarantine for two weeks from where she's training right now in Malaysia.
But she couldn't leave without one more lift:

Born with spina bifida, a birth defect of the spinal cord, he lost the ability to use his legs.
But that didn’t limit Aaron who has inspired a new generation of riders into Wheelchair Motocross, WCMX.
He uses a custom wheelchair for death-defying stunts and has a crash-reel that would make your eyes peel.
In 2006 at 14 years of age Aaron became the first person ever to land a wheelchair backflip, at 18 the first to nail a double backflip.
Aaron has toured the world with 'Nitro Circus' and starred in the Rio 2016 Paralympics Opening Ceremony.

Gymnastics megastar Simone Biles is supporting COVID-19 relief and encouraging other athletes to join the initiative.
People can donate and athletes can sign up at www.athletesrelief.org all proceeds go to the Center for Disaster Philanthropy's COVID-19 Response Fund.
The fund helps local nonprofits working in areas identified as having high numbers of affected individuals and with the most vulnerable populations.

The skiing may be cancelled on the piste, but not online.
You can download this free FIS World Cup Ski Racing game and get involved for a good cause.
The game is free to download and play and there is no charge to compete in the e-Finals where you can win fantastic real-world prizes like VIP tickets to the 2021 FIS World Championships at Cortina 2021.
There are also pairs of HEAD, Atomic, Fischer skis and LEKI poles up for grabs.
This special event is being hosted on the FIS Ski Racing mobile game and the competitions are taking place from now until Sunday 22nd March at 15:00 CET.

With Spain locked down, Leo Messi sent a message to fans and followers a few days ago praising medical staff and asking people to "be responsible" using #stayhome
"These are difficult days for everyone," his post begins, before sending love and strength to those affected and to the medical staff on the front lines.
"Health comes first," he continues, "this is an exceptional moment, we have to follow instructions from the health organistaions and public authorities, it's the only way we can combat this effectively."
Barcelona and Argentina's megastar also says it's a chance to spend some time with family that we don't always have, finishing with:
"Here's a hug, let's hope we can turn this around ASAP."
