Japan's **[Higuchi Rei](https://olympics.com/en/paris-2024/athlete/rei-higuchi_1939714)** won the 57kg freestyle wrestling gold  medal  with a 4-2 takedown against Team USA's [**Spencer Lee**](https://olympics.com/en/paris-2024/athlete/spencer-richard-lee_1955415) at Paris 2024.

In other medal matches, Uzbekistan's **[Gulomjon Abdullaev](https://olympics.com/en/paris-2024/athlete/gulomjon-abdullaev_1562157)** sealed a 5-1 win over [Bekzat Almaz Uulu](https://olympics.com/en/paris-2024/athlete/bekzat-almaz-uulu_1936230) from Kyrgyzstan, while India's **[Aman Sehrawat](https://olympics.com/en/paris-2024/athlete/aman-aman_1931496)** beat Puerto Rico's [Darian Cruz](https://olympics.com/en/paris-2024/athlete/darian-toi-cruz_1566524) 13-5.
