Though we are in the last few days of the Olympic Games Paris 2024, the action is not waning. You will find Team USA in wrestling, weightlifting, track and field, basketball, breaking and so much more on Friday, 9 August.

In the 4x100m relay, both the U.S. men and women are looking to win gold. Both teams are star-studded and have high expectations.

Breaking will make its Olympic debut on Friday, where B-Girl Sunny will be competing for Team USA. On the basketball court, the U.S. women will face a familiar foe in Australia in their semifinal.

The relays are always important to U.S. teams, no matter the sport. But the men’s 4x100 relay team hasn’t been on the podium since the Olympic Games Athens 2004. The U.S. women took silver at Tokyo 2020, but won gold in the two Games before that.

Noah Lyles and Kenny Bednarek will lead the men’s team, while Sha’Carri Richardson and Gabby Thomas are the standouts among the women. Can they both win 4x100m relay gold, which hasn’t happened since 1992?

Breaking is new to the Olympic Games this year, and we’ll finally get a chance to see the B-Girls show off their moves. She B-Girl Sunny has a silver from the World Games and a gold from the Pan-Ams. Tune in to see if she can add to her medal collection.

On the basketball court, a longtime rivalry will be renewed as the U.S. play Australia in a game that will decide who gets to play for the gold medal. The U.S. has the depth and shooting to win the game, but the talented Aussie team will be hopeful of an upset.
