On Tuesday 6 August, the Champions Park of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games was visited by its most popular athlete: Léon Marchand, a swimmer from Toulouse. Set up to celebrate all the medal winners, it lived up to its reputation by offering some magical moments in a picture-postcard setting, between the Eiffel Tower and Place du Trocadéro.

A magnificent parade. On Tuesday August 6, the atmosphere was once again superb at the Champions Park of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, as medal-winning heroes from every nation took to the stage. In front of thousands of spectators who had flocked to the foot of the Eiffel Tower, a number of the world's best athletes celebrated their podium finishes.

Among them on the podium at the Trocadéro were many Frenchmen, including the swimmers led by a wild Léon Marchand. The fencers were also there, as were the triathlete Cassandre Beaugrand and the medal-winning canoe-kayak specialists. In short, there was something for everyone!

Among the international athletes were Dominican long jumper Thea LaFond, Australian Jessica Fox and Canadian hammer thrower Ethan Katzberg.
