Those sparkly Team USA leotards weren't the only stars shining on Sunday (28 July) at Bercy Arena.

Global superstars were there to take in the women's gymnastics qualifying, too, as superstar Simone Biles led the Americans in a standout effort, the squad tallying a 172.296, well in the clear of the rest of the field through two (of five) sub-divisions.

Ariana Grande and her Wicked co-star Cynthia Erivo drew plenty of head-turns, and they were just the start of it. Lady Gaga, Tom Cruise, Anna Wintour, Jessica Chastain, Snoop Dogg, Shaun White and gymnastics legend Nadia Comaneci were all in attendance, too.

"You ready to see Simone?" I asked Snoop as he made his way into the venue, flanked by cameras and handlers.

"Yes sir!" Came his response, sunglasses still on.

Biles and fellow Olympic all-around champion Suni Lee finished 1-2 for the U.S. women. Jordan Chiles, Hezly Rivera and Jade Carey all also had strong showings, though Carey, the reigning Olympic champ on floor, had a major mistake on the close of her routine on that apparatus.

The celebs all watched as attention, with Grande enthusiastically cheering on her fellow Americans, including Rivera, the 16-year-old who also hails from Grande's home state of New Jersey.

It's been a star-studded start to the Olympics Games Paris 2024, with Gaga being joined by Celine Dion in the Opening Ceremony performances, where Comaneci, Serena Williams, Zinedane Zidane, French President Emmanuel Macron and others appeared as luminaries.
