Paris 2024 men's weightlifting: All results as Karlos Nasar wins 89kg gold and breaks World Record

Bulgaria's [**Karlos Nasar**](https://olympics.com/en/paris-2024/athlete/karlos-may-nasar_1903011) secured the men's weightlifting 89 kg gold medal at the **Olympic Games Paris 2024** on Friday (9 August), before **lifting 224kg in the clean and jerk to earn a new World Record.** This also gave him a World Record in the overall lift with 404 kg.

**[Yeison Lopez](https://olympics.com/en/paris-2024/athlete/yeison-lopez_1543506)** from Colombia took silver with a total of 390 kg, and Italy's **[Antonino Pizzolatto](https://olympics.com/en/paris-2024/athlete/antonino-pizzolato_1568724)** won bronze with 384 kg.
