The People's Republic of China’s **[Wu Yu](https://olympics.com/en/paris-2024/athlete/yu-wu_1926833)** won in a dominant match over Kazakhstan’s **[Nazym Kyzaibay](https://olympics.com/en/paris-2024/athlete/nazym-kyzaibay_1931331)**, winning by points, 4-1 at the [**Olympic Games Paris 2024**](https://olympics.com/en/paris-2024) on Tuesday, 6 August. The semi-final loss means Kyzaibay earns one of the two bronze medals awarded at 50 kg. [**Aira Villegas**](https://olympics.com/en/paris-2024/athlete/aira-villegas_1979870) from the Philippines is awarded the other bronze medal.

This is Kazakhstan's third medal of **Paris 2024**, and the first in boxing for these games.
