Olympic Day is celebration of sport and getting active. It invites everyone to make the world a better place by moving, discovering and learning through sport. This Olympic Day highlights the power of sport to bring people together in peace. Whether running together with friends for a cause or showing up for team-mates, whatever peace means to you and however you choose to move, move together on 23 June.

When is Olympic Day?

Olympic Day takes place on 23 June each year to commemorate the day the International Olympic Committee was founded in 1894 - the birth of the modern Olympics.
