Basketball star Nikola Jokić has been named in Serbia’s preliminary squad for the Olympic Games Paris 2024.

The Denver Nuggets center is part of the 16-player lineup announced this week, with the final squads to be confirmed closer to the start of the tournament.

Jokić last competed in the Olympic Games at Rio 2016, where he won silver with Serbia after being beaten by the United States in the men's final. They will be hoping to go one step further at Paris 2024, with several other NBA players in the squad including Bogdan Bogdanović of the Atlanta Hawks and Vasilije Micić of the Charlotte Hawks.
