American tennis star Coco Gauff’s potential road to victory at the 2024 Miami Open is set.

The 20-year-old, who last week made it to the semi-finals at Indian Wells, finds herself in the top half of the draw. Having received a bye into the round of 64, Gauff’s opening match of the tournament will see her face either American Ashlyn Krueger or a qualifier/lucky loser.

As the reigning U.S. Open champion progresses, she could face top 10 players like Tunisa’s Ons Jabeur, a three-time Olympian, and Daria Kasatkina.

World No. 1 Iga Swiatek of Poland, the Indian Wells champion, looms in a potential semi-final battle for Gauff.

The bottom half of the women’s draw features No. 2-ranked Aryna Sabalenka and No. 4 Elena Rybakina. Greece’s Maria Sakkari, who dismissed Gauff at Indian Wells in the semis, is the No. 8 seed and could potentially see Rybakina to advance to a second-straight final.

Former Grand Slam champion Naomi Osaka and four-time Olympic gold medal winner Venus Williams are also set to hit the court in Miami.

On the men's side, Carlos Alcaraz, fresh off a win at Indian Wells, is the top seed. He could potentially see Sasha Zverev in the semis. The men's field also includes No. 2 Jannik Sinner and No. 3 ranked Daniil Medvedev. Two-time Olympic gold medallist Andy Murray is set to face Italy's Matteo Berrettini in the first round.

Women’s main draw play at the event is scheduled to begin on Tuesday (19 March), while the men’s action will get underway on Wednesday (20 March).
