Two exciting semi-final line-ups have been confirmed for the 2022 World Park Skateboarding Championships in 2023.
With Paris 2024 Olympic qualification berths up for grabs in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates, Kusaki Hinano of Japan stepped up to claim first place in the women's quarter-finals.
Qualifying in the next two spots were Tokyo 2020 bronze medallist Sky Brown and her fellow Briton Lola Tambling, with scores of 82.00 and 79.83 respectively.
Japanese Olympic gold and silver medallists, Yosozumi Sakura and Hiraki Kokona, went through in ninth and fifth respectively. For a full run down of the qualifiers, click here.
Olympic champ Keegan Palmer lived up to his star billing by taking top spot in the men's quarter-finals later on Friday (10 February).
The Australian's opening score of 88.33 was the best of the evening with Gavin Bottger in second place although the 14-year-old American looks set to miss out on the semi-finals after breaking his arm on his second run.
Rounding out the top three was Olympic silver medallist Pedro Barros who finished just in front of his countryman Augusto Akio.
Tokyo 2020 street bronze medallist Jagger Eaton, who competed in last week's Street World Championships at Aljada Skatepark, made it through but Olympic park bronze medallist Cory Juneau and Japanese national champion Nagahara Yuro were among those who missed out. Full details can be found here.
