Take a look back at the first big night of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games fortnight at Club France, in the Parc de la Villette.

Early on Saturday afternoon, Olympics.com took a look around Club France de la Villette. The atmosphere was rather calm and the public, despite the rain, was busy eating and taking part in the various activities taking place in the Grande Halle.

But, as expected, the atmosphere changed dramatically in the evening as the French medals came thick and fast. Above all, the place went crazy when judokas Shirine Boukli and Luka Mkheidze came to present their medals... as did the French rugby sevens team, crowned. Photo album.
