29 July is Tom Day on Day 4 of the Olympic Games Paris 2024.

British sport icon Tom Daley returns to defend the synchronised 10m platform title he won with Matty Lee, this time alongside Noah Williams.

Defending men's mountain bike champion Tom Pidcock takes to the Olympic fray just weeks after the conclusion of the Tour de France.

Equestrian reaches its climax with Tom McEwen, Laura Collett and Ros Canter in with a shot of retaining their Olympic title in team eventing leading France by 82.5 points to 87.2 (the lower the score the better). Individual medals will also be awarded following a final jump off with Collett currently second.

The men's 200m freestyle final in the pool features Matt Richards and four-time medallist in Tokyo, Duncan Scott, the two swimmers whose performances at the British trials kept defending Olympic champion Tom Dean out of the event.

In men's artistic gymnastics, the team final at the Bercy Arena sees Team GB looking to claim a podium spot for the first time since winning bronze at London 2012.

And that marks just some of the events on an action-packed day for Team GB in Paris.

Read on to discover Team GB’s highlights on Day 3 of Paris 2024.

British athletes to watch on 29 July at Paris 2024: Tom Daley, Tom Pidcock, Laura Collett, and Matt Richards

Tom Daley makes his first outing in diving at Paris 2024, and it's a cracker as he aims to repeat the emotional gold he won alongside Matty Lee in Japan in the men's synchronised 10m platform.

This time alongside Noah Williams, who replaces the injured Lee, Daley is somewhat at peace having finally added top spot to his repertoire, at his fourth Olympic Games, after winning three bronze medals up to Tokyo 2020.

Daley first competed at Beijing 2008, as a 14-year-old, and is back for a fifth edition, now with husband Lance, and two children, cheering him on from the stands. Reigning world champions, Yang Hao and Lian Junjie, who won the title by almost 50 points ahead of Daley and Williams in February, will be hard to beat.

Tom Pidcock will take to Elancourt Hill - the highest point in the Paris region at 231m – but won't have time to take in the sweeping views, as he hurtles down the mountain bike trail in an attempt to repeat his gold medal from Tokyo. The reigning cross-country world champion is also an entrant in the men's road race (3 August).

Two medals will be awarded in eventing today. Laura Collett, Ros Canter, and Tom McEwen will be competing together, aiming to secure a second consecutive team title. Moments later, a jump off will decide the individual conqueror in the only Olympic sport in which men and women compete against each other.

McEwen is the silver medallist from Tokyo 2020, but Collett is leading the way in France, currently behind Michael Jung of Germany with just the jumping to go. It has been quite the recovery from the rider who nearly died in 2013 and had to be resuscitated five times after a fall from her horse.

A head-to-head in the men's 200m freestyle could see a battle royale between Matt Richards and Duncan Scott Paris La Defense Arena as they attempt to recapture the Olympic gold won by compatriot Tom Dean last time out.
