PSY made a show-stopping cameo at the Winter Youth Olympic Games Gangwon 2024 on Tuesday (30 January).

The megawatt artist from Republic of Korea attended the women’s figure skating free skate at Gangneung Ice Arena.

A roar of applause greeted PSY as he appeared on the arena's screen at the conclusion of the event, which saw Japan's Shimada Mao win gold. The Korean singer smiled at the crowd while mascot Moongcho danced to his song 'That That.'

The record-selling performer was seated next to International Olympic Committee President Thomas Bach, accompanied by 2010 Olympic figure skating champion Yuna Kim. Former Secretary-General of the United Nations Ban Ki-moon was also in the attendance.

Throughout his career, PSY has released eight studio albums and 26 singles. His international breakthrough hit “Gangnam Style,” released in 2012, has garnered more than 5 billion views on YouTube.
