Luka Doncic marked his FIBA World Cup debut with 37 points, seven rebounds and six assists to lead Slovenia to a 100-85 win over Venezuela in Group F on Saturday (26 August).

Doncic, who also had a pair of steals and a blocked shot in his maiden game on international basketball's biggest stage, had not played competitively since the end of the NBA regular season with the Dallas Mavericks.
