The 19th edition of the FIBA Basketball World Cup will take place from 25 August-10 September across the nations of Japan, the Philippines and Indonesia who are co-hosting the tournament.
A total of 32 men's national teams will be taking part after securing their place via the FIBA World Cup Qualifiers, a 15-month-long process featuring 80 teams from across four regions (Asia and Oceania, Africa, Americas, and Europe) playing against each other in six windows.
The first window took place in late November 2021 with four more in 2022. The last remaining spot was awarded on 27 February.
As well as deciding who will be world champion, the World Cup will also allocate quota berths for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
