24 Hours in Nantes to Experience the Games
As the capital of the Pays de la Loire awakens, take time to stroll along the largest river in France and its famous St. Félix canal, created in the 6th century. You will quickly notice the large-format photos adorning the walls of the city's sports facilities, from Marcel-Saupin Stadium to Léo Lagrange Pool: 12 outdoor triptychs offered by the Nantes Archives, retracing the city's sports history and showcasing its most beautiful neighborhoods.

Celebrating Sports Since March 29: In case you missed it, the festive and popular Club 24 from CREPS Pays de la Loire has been touring the region since March 29 and will continue until September 27, 2024. For example, it will be in Allonnes on July 26 for the Olympiads and the broadcast of the Olympic opening ceremony. Note that it will stop in four of the 24 communes of the Nantes Metropolis: La Chapelle-sur-Erdre, Vertou, Couëron, and Nantes.
2. Welcoming the World (Especially on Football Nights): Eight matches, both men's and women's, are scheduled at the Beaujoire Stadium. Mark your calendars for July 24, 25, 27, 28, and 30. Teams from Egypt, the Dominican Republic, Uzbekistan, Israel, Japan, Spain, and Nigeria will be featured. The women's tournament quarter-final on August 3 and the men's bronze medal match on August 8 complete the program.

3. Meet in Front of the Giant Screen at Club 2024: Open from July 26 to August 11, from 12 PM to midnight at Carré Feydeau (free entry). It's a place to gather, chat, and casually participate in a variety of sports activities open to everyone. And, of course, watch the Olympic events on the giant screen. 4. Take a Selfie with the Games' Mascots: On July 27 from 7 PM to 9 PM, the two mascots, the Olympic and Paralympic Phryges, will be at Club 24. It's a unique opportunity to have fun with family and friends.
5. Celebrate the Games… Near You: Launched on May 2, it already has over 5,000 events across France. The Carte des Jeux allows any project led by an association, individual, or other local actor with ideas to be visible on the official Paris 2024 app.

6. Laugh at the Crazy Disco-Foot Choreographies: The spectacular Ballet de Lorraine had ignited the forecourt of the Centre Pompidou during France's victory in the 2018 World Cup. For the first time in Nantes, they will perform at Club 24 on July 28 (4 PM), July 29 (time to be determined), and July 30 (5 PM).
7. Play "New Football": Futnet, foot 5, fitfoot... soon these will have no secrets for you. On match nights, three hours before kickoff, the Football League of Pays de la Loire offers a public event on the stadium forecourt (grass field next to the ticket office): introduction and demonstration of new football practices, particularly in the context of sports-health, accessible to everyone.
