The Olympic Esports Week 2023 (OEW) takes place in Singapore at the Suntec Convention and Exhibition Centre from 22 to 25 June 2023. In addition to crowning the inaugural Olympic Esports Finals winners, there will also be exhibitions in five games.

Show matches will take place in Rocket League, Virtual Table Tennis with VR Eleven, Arena Games Triathlon (duathlon format), the newly released Street Fighter 6, and NBA2K23.

What will the formats of each exhibition event be?

Rocket League format at Olympic Esports Week 2023

Four teams will take part in the exhibition tournament, two men's teams and two women's teams. The two men's teams and two women's teams will face each other in a best-of-five match.

Street Fighter 6 format at Olympic Esports Week 2023

Four of the world's best Street Fighter players will play in a double-elimination format, with round 1 matches in each bracket being best-of-three. The bracket finals and grand final are best-of-five.

NBA 2K23 format at Olympic Esports Week 2023

Each match will be a 5v5 match. Three teams will play each other in the Pro-AM game mode of NBA 2K23 (PlayStation 5) in an exhibition format, with no overall winner declared.

Virtual Table Tennis format at Olympic Esports Week 2023

This exhibition tournament will be held in a direct elimination knockout bracket featuring four players. The two semi-finals and the final will be best-of-three.

Duathlon (Arena Games Triathlon) format at Olympic Esports Week 2023

Five teams, representing four continents as well as host nation Singapore, will compete with four athletes – two youth players (15–17) and two junior players (18–19), with one male and one female player per age group.

The teams will compete over a 750m run, 6km cycle, and another 750m run.

Who will play in the exhibition show matches at the Olympic Esports Week 2023?

Rocket League teams participating at OEW 2023

In Rocket League, the four teams involved are Gen.G Mobil1 Racing and Karmine Corp playing in the men's bracket, and G2 Luna and Williams Resolve in the women's bracket.

Street Fighter 6 participants at OEW 2023

The players taking part in Street Fighter 6 include Britain's Kim-Philippe "the4philzz" Ruddy Badiabio, Japan's Taniguchi "Tokido" Hajime, Mexico's Juan Antonio "Kusanagi" Medrano, and Thum "MindRPG" Homchuen from Thailand.

NBA 2K23 teams participating at OEW 2023

The three teams playing in the NBA 2K23 exhibition each won their respective eFIBA Season 1 regional finals this year: Philippines (Asia), Türkiye (Europe), and Brazil (South America).
