World No.1 Novak Djokovic appears to be in golden form.

The 20-time major champion, still on track to win the 'Golden Slam' in 2021, wasted no time in beating Japan's home hope NISHIKORI Kei 6-2 6-0 to advance to the semi-finals in men's tennis at Tokyo 2020.

Djokovic has not lost a set in four matches played. In total, he's lost just 17 games across eight sets played. He awaits Alexander Zverev of Germany, the No.4 seed.

Djokovic hit three aces while winning 85 percent of his first serve points in the match (17 from 20), while knocking 13 winners off the ground and going 12 from 13 at the net, as well.

Djokovic becomes the first player - man or woman - to reach three Olympic singles semi-finals, while he also ties Roger Federer for the most singles wins at the Games with 13.

Djokovic has won the first three majors of 2021, meaning he still can complete the aforementioned 'Golden Slam' - winning all four Grand Slams and the Olympic gold in one year.

On the men's bottom half, Karen Khachanov of the ROC is into the semi-finals, as well. He'll meet Pablo Carreno Busta of Spain, who upset Khachanov's ROC teammate Daniil Medvedev, the No.2 seed, in straight sets.

Women's singles: Bencic into gold medal match

Switzerland's Belinda Bencic will play for Olympic gold after a grueling two-hour, 44-minute win over Elena Rybakina of Kazakhstan. Bencic won 7-6(2) 4-6 6-3.

She awaits the Czech Republic's Marketa Vondrousova, the player who took out Naomi Osaka in the third round.

In men's doubles, the gold-medal match is set, featuring No.1 Nikola Mektic and Mate Pavic of Croatia, who will meet their countrymen, Marin CIlic and Ivan Dodig, in the final.

Barbora Krejcikova and Katerina Siniakova are into the women's doubles final - and will face the duo Bencic/Viktorija Golubic there.
