The final 12 gold medals of the Commonwealth Games will be handed out on Monday 8 August, 2022.

The day’s action will begin in badminton where winners will be crowned in the singles, doubles and mixed doubles contest.

India will have the opportunity to win three gold medals, including two-time Olympic medallist PV Sindhu who will take on Canadian Michelle Li in the women's singles final, and Sen Lakshya in the men's.

Hosts England will be hoping to upgrade on their silver from four years ago when they lock horns with South Africa in the men's hockey final. There will be extra motivation behind them after England's women prevailed in their final yesterday.

Elsewhere, table tennis will crown its final set of winners as the women’s doubles and men’s singles competitions come to a close, and the diving will conclude with the mixed synchronised events which are making their Commonwealth debut in Birmingham.

With hockey set to wrap up all the sporting action, the Games will then officially end with the Closing Ceremony at 20:30. Athletes will reunite once more at Alexander Stadium and the hosting honours will be handed over to Australia for the 2026 edition of the Games.
