Celebrating the Paralympics throughout France
For 12 days, France is preparing to welcome nearly 3 million spectators from all over the world to take part in the first Paralympic Games to be held on French soil. It's an opportunity to celebrate together, throughout the country, the resilience, courage and ability of these 4,400 para-athletes to chart their own course and overcome prejudice and obstacles. It's a chance to marvel at their extraordinary athletic performances. From the English Channel to the Mediterranean, from the Atlantic to the Alps, via the West Indies, let's celebrate the achievements of men and women driven by the energy of sport!

A festive and popular procession, carried by almost 1,000 enthusiastic scouts... From Calais to Strasbourg, via Antibes or Saint-Malo, wherever you are, immerse yourself in these first Paralympic Games made in France by following the relay of the 12 Paralympic flames.
Don't want to miss out on the exploits of the champions while learning about the various Olympic and Paralympic disciplines? Visit one of the 74 Paris 2024 Clubs all over France to follow the Paralympic competitions live, or to take part in activities that are as much fun as they are sporting. The Paralympic Games will soon hold no secrets for you!
During the Paralympic Games, culture and sport come together to offer you the best of themselves with the Cultural Olympiads: in Paris, with the “** Histoires paralympiques” exhibition at the Panthéon**; in Nantes, with Shonen's “Parc” dance show, featuring children with motor and physical disabilities accompanied by professional dancers.
To celebrate and honor the French champions, head to the Parc de la Villette to take part in one of Club France's many sports and disability-related activities, before dancing the night away to the lively rhythms of one of the Dj sets that will be livening up the pavilions of the Parc des Nations for the duration of the Paralympic Games.
Paris 2024 has also thought of you: visit one of the more than 200 Mini Club 24 sites across France, located in your leisure center or school, to discover the world of handisport. Hundreds of fun and inclusive activities are on the programme, to help you gently tame the world of Olympus!

See the country light up on the route of the 12 Paralympic flames: from Calais to Strasbourg, via Antibes and Saint-Malo, the whole of France will be united by the arrival of 4,400 para-athletes from all over the world to perform in the capital. Experience the Paralympic Games in Bordeaux: Bordeaux residents and visitors alike can take advantage of the Paralympic Games to discover the “Olympic and Paralympic” exhibition as it travels around the city, exploring the history and values of handisport.
