ATK Mohun Bagan (ATKMB) will start their campaign in Indian Super League 2020-21 with two crunch fixtures.

Formerly known as just ATK, the Sourav Ganguly co-owned club has merged with I-League 2019-20 champions Mohun Bagan and will participate in the ISL this season as ATK Mohun Bagan.

According to the partial ISL 2020-21 schedule, ATK Mohun Bagan's matches will kick off against two-time finalists Kerala Blasters FC in the ISL season 7's opening match on November 20 at the GMC Stadium in Bambolim, Goa.

On November 27, ATKMB will engage ISL newcomers SC East Bengal in the famous Kolkata Derby at the Tilak Maidan Stadium.

In the ISL 2020-21, the Kerala Blasters vs ATK Mohun Bagan season-opener, Indian football fans will witness a battle of two shrewd Spanish coaches.

While ATKMB's Antonio Lopez Habas has been a two-time championship-winning coach, having led ATK to the title in the inaugural ISL 2014 season and again last year, Kerala Blasters' Kibu Vicuna was the architect of Mohun Bagan's I-League triumph last season and will have a point to prove.

The second match against Robbie Fowler-coached SC East Bengal, meanwhile, will be one of the most anticipated ties of ISL 2020-21. East Bengal and Mohun Bagan's 100-year-old rivalry has been Indian football's biggest advertisement on the global stage. The historic clash will take centre stage in the ISL for the first time.

With Roy Krishna, David Williams, Carl McHugh, Javier Hernandez, Prabir Das, Michael Soosairaj, Pritam Kotal and Sumit Rathi, ATK Mohun Bagan have managed to hold onto the core which inspired their ISL title last season.

In India internationals, Sandesh Jhingan, Subhasish Bose, Manvir Singh and new foreign recruit Brad Imman, a former Newcastle United youth product, the champions have also made significant additions to the squad. ISL veteran Tiri will also return to the club after three years away, bolstering Habas' defensive setup.

According to ATK Mohun Bagan's fixtures for ISL 2020-21, the club will play a total of 10 matches until January 11. Rest of the matches will be announced later.
