Athletes get ready for Innsbruck 2012

From Cameroon to Canada, New Zealand to Norway, over 1,000 young athletes from all over of the world are busy preparing themselves for what will be the biggest sporting competition of their careers… the first Winter Youth Olympic Games, Innsbruck 2012.

And as we get ever closer to the official Opening Ceremony on 13 January, various countries have been excitedly announcing their teams. Among them Switzerland who will bring a total of 26 athletes and Great Britain, who will be represented by 23 young competitors including Thomas Muirhead, the younger brother of European Curling Champion and Team GB Olympian Eve Muirhead, who will also be in Innsbruck as an Athlete Role Model.
