The World Athletics' 2024 Diamond League calendar has been set with 15 track & field meets taking place between 20 April and 14 September.

The season begins with two meets in People’s Republic of China, with the first scheduled for 20 April in Xiamen and the second in Shanghai/Suzhou a week later.

From there, the programme moves to Qatar, Morocco and the USA before a series of 10 meets in Europe that culminate with the Diamond League final in Brussels from 13-14 September.

As in past years, athletes will accumulate points throughout the season with the highest ranked athletes in each event after the 14th meet in Zurich competing for the honour of being named Diamond League Champions in the season finale.

The 2024 final at the Allianz Memorial Van Damme in Brussels will be the first time the season-ender has taken place in the city since 2019,

Last year’s final in Eugene, Oregon saw 32 of the top names in sport named Diamond League Champions in their respective events, including Jamaica’s Shericka Jackson in the women’s 100m and 200m, Norway’s Jakob Ingebrigtsen and Kenya’s Faith Kipyegon in the 1500m, Sweden’s Armand Duplantis in the pole vault and Venezuela’s Yulimar Rojas in the triple jump.
