The 2023/24 NBA season is in full swing and the trade deadline (8 February) came and went quickly. With a landslide of deals ahead of Thursday's deadline, it looks like the New York Knicks came out on top, once again.

The front offices of the top men's basketball league in the world made moves to improve their rosters with an eye on the playoffs and future drafts.

As reported by numerous sources on 24 July following his initial move from Phoenix to Washington D.C., the Warriors have today (6 July) confirmed the acquisition of two-time Olympic gold medallist and four-time All-NBA First Team point guard Chris Paul from the Wizards.

The Phoenix Suns have acquired three-time All-Star Bradley Beal as part of a three-team trade between the Suns, Washington Wizards and Indiana Pacers.

Two-time Olympic gold medallist Chris Paul, who was sent to the Wizards as part of the deal, has subsequently been traded to the Golden State Warriors for a package that includes Jordan Poole and future draft assets, according to ESPN Senior NBA Insider Adrian Wojnarowski; that deal is yet to be confirmed by either team.
