Its journey has already taken in some of the most awesome sights in the host nation, including the towering Iguazú Falls and the huge Salinas Grandes salt flats, while the flame has even been carried by torchbearers on mountain bikes and surfboards!

As part of the 60-day Torch Tour, hundreds of inspirational young people have been given the chance to carry the flame in recognition of their achievements, including community youth leaders, local junior athletes and former Youth Olympians.

Members of the public have also been encouraged to get involved through the innovative #UnitedByTheFlame campaign, which is offering them the chance to carry their own digital flame on social media.

By using the hashtag #UnitedByTheFlame, Instagram users can add a Youth Olympic flame gif to their stories and include a message related to the Olympic values. The flame gif can also be downloaded and used on other social networks to spread the message even further.

There is still plenty of time to get involved and follow the flame on its epic journey across Argentina, as it makes its way to Buenos Aires for what is sure to be a spectacular arrival at the Opening Ceremony on 6 October.
