Appointed CEO in February 2023, Cindy Hook leads the day-to-day operations of the Brisbane 2032 team across all key functions of organising the Games.
Cindy joins us with 35 years of global leadership experience across three continents with Deloitte, including seven years as a CEO. Throughout this time, she has been recognised for her commitment to diversity and inclusion, an advocate for gender equality and women in leadership with Champions of Change, Chief Executive Women (Australia) and many more initiatives.
Cindy also serves on the board of the Great Barrier Reef Foundation, a world leading organisation enabling research to safeguard the Great Barrier Reef and coral reefs around the world from the impacts of climate change.
Like each member of the Brisbane 2032 team, she’s dedicated to creating an unforgettable experience for all at the Olympic and Paralympic Games – and to leaving a proud legacy for Australia.
The Brisbane 2032 team operates under the leadership of CEO Cindy Hook, with the assistance of President Andrew Liveris and The Board of Directors.
Currently, our team has the important role of critical foundation planning for the Games across several key divisions:
These divisions will change and develop as we continue the journey to 2032, and our team will continue to grow. Over the coming years, we’ll be recruiting thousands of passionate and experienced professionals, volunteers and sports-lovers dedicated to delivering a history-making Olympic and Paralympic Games.
