Biography

Zohre was born in Arak, a city in Iran. When she was 18, she watched the Olympic Games Sydney 2000 and saw an Iranian female athlete in the sport of shooting who inspired her. She then told herself that she wanted to show the world that an Iranian woman can not only participate in the Olympic Games, but also win a medal. The next day she registered at a shooting club.

Her progress was so fast that she moved quickly to Teheran where she trained with the national team. She participated in major competitions and achieved some really good results against some very experienced athletes.

Unfortunately, she had to leave everything behind and look for a safer place to live and train, moving to Turkey with her daughter.

Zohre has a computer diploma and coaching certificates. She would love to study psychology, but for the moment she trains as much as she can and is aiming for Paris 2024… her ultimate childhood dream
