Biography

William Remington finished third at the 1900 IC4As in both the high hurdles and the long jump. In 1899 he was fourth in the IC4A 220y hurdles. He competed for Penn, graduating in 1900. He then received a divinity degree from the Virginia Theological Seminary in 1905. Remington then served as missionary bishop of Eastern Oregon from 1923-45, when he was appointed as suffragen bishop of Philadelphia. After his retirement he settled in Rancho Santa Fe, California.

Personal Bests: 120yH – 15.8 (1900); LJ – 7.09 (23-3¼) (1898).
