Waldemar Malak had the following podium finishes at major championships: 3rd in the 1992 Olympics Sub-Heavyweight class (400.0 kg.); 2nd in the 1992 European Championships Sub-Heavyweight class (395.0 kg.). Malak was a killed in a traffic accident.
