Viktor KRAVCHENKO

In 1964, Viktor Kravchenk won his first Soviet title in triple jump and was selected for the Soviet Olympic team. The apex of his career came at the 1964 Olympics, where his personal best of 16.57 won a bronze medal behind world record holder Józef Szmidt and ex-world record holder Oleg Fedoseyev. Those Olympics were also Kravchenko’s only major international tournament. Besides his 1964 national title, Kravchenko won another Soviet title in 1966, adding a silver at the 1967 Soviet Championships.
